At Collé we understand the importance of safe working in hazardous situations. Temporary employment agencies recruiting candidates for sectors in which we are active must also be aware of the risks.
The VIL-VCU is intended for staff of temp agencies who send people to work at VCA approved businesses. Successful completion of the course will provide an awareness of the associated risks. Providing your candidates with expertise on the legislation, procedures for working with hazardous substances and personal protective equipment will equip them for their intended role and the work they are to carry out.
Temp agencies active in mechanical, electrical and civil engineering, process control and construction as well as in technical fields like insulation, scaffolding, industrial cleaning, shotblasting, renovation and painting, transport and inspection often require VIL-VCU certification.
The examination has been developed by the Safety Collaboration Foundation (SSVV) and focuses on health and safety and environmental protection in high-risk environments. The following topics will be covered over the two-day course:
There is currently no legal requirement for VCA, VCA-VOL or VIL-VCU certification, however it is increasingly required by clients. This approach reduces the risk of accidents at work to a minimum, as workers are fully informed about the risks associated with their work and the necessary control measures. VCA certification courses are also based on the guidelines established by the legislation.
